I was wondering what Patricia Hill Collins' ideal world would look like. Would everyone tell their own story?
Interesting question. I think she would say that it depends upon context. Since theory is about generalization and people often share similar experiences, it would be redundant for everyone to tell his/her own story. Life stories might serve other purposes though.
